We handle the process before the civil status office of any Italian Comune: verification of requirements, banns under Articles 93 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code, nulla osta and certificates of capacity to marry, through to registration of the marriage certificate.
Civil marriage in Italy →We handle the expediente matrimonial before the Registro Civil, ayuntamiento or notary throughout Spain, including the islands, with sworn translations and apostilles that meet the standards required by the competent office.
Civil marriage in Spain →We assist British citizens marrying in Italy or Spain: giving notice at the Register Office, certificate of no impediment, the requirements of the legal system where the ceremony takes place and, on returning, certified translation and legalisation of the marriage certificate for use in England.
British nationals marrying abroad →Tell us the nationality, place of residence and intended place of marriage of each party, and we will reply with a written assessment and the list of documents required.
